Singer Zhou Huajian to be Spokesperson of TIENS
“More charm, more vigor.” On the afternoon of May 15, as the spokesperson of Tiens Group, sunny-dressed Singer Zhou Huajian received a Golden Lion presented by Tiens Group Vice President Yan Yupeng. A commercial image starred by Zhou Huajian and his song “Love in the Universe”, the theme song of TV series “Traditional Chinese Courtyard,” was unveiled for the first time to the media.
Tiens Group Vice President Mr. Yan Yupeng, Mr. Wang Guofeng, Vice Chairman of TIENS Meijing International Charitable Foundation Ms. Bai Ping, and General Manager of TIENS International Culture & Media Group attended the news conference.
Leaders from State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT), Culture Ministry, Communist Youth League, Publicity Department of CCCPC also attended and made speeches. The Leaders of SARFT commended TIENS’ contribution to the exploration of the cultural industry, while the Culture Ministry leaders hoped TIENS could keep up its efforts to produce more high-quality works.
At the same time, Zhou Huajian was named the Ambassador of Love for TIENS Meijing International Charitable Foundation at the news conference. The assistant president of Tiens Group and Vice chairman of the Foundation Ms. Bai Ping presented the Ambassador Certificate to Zhou Huajian. Zhou Huajian, as the Ambassador of Love, also donated some school supplies to the students of the Class Hong Zhi.
On May 12, Forbes (China) Magazine issued 2004 China Charity Roll of Honor, in which Tiens Group was ranked 16th.
It was reported that Tiens Group would sponsor Zhou Huajian’s tournament of six concerts “Meet at TIENS ? Love in the Universe” to be held in cities including Shenyang, Nanjing, etc.
The theme song for the 20-episode TV series “Traditional Chinese Courtyard,” , “Love in the Universe” sang by Zhou Huajian, will be shown on major national television channels soon. This TV drama is directed by Lu Xiaowei, famous for the TV drama “Desire,” and stars senior artists Li Ding, Han Ying and the multi-talented young star, Bai Ling. The story is mainly about the relationship between old landlord Qian and his tenants Grandpa He, his grandchild and others in their ups and downs during the SARS period.
In answering the reporters, Director Lu Xiaowei said that he believes this TV drama with Zhou Huajian’s OST will be the second high point of his career.
General Manager of TIENS International Culture & Media Group summarized that, the fact that the Tiens Group has stepped into the television industry shows TIENS’ breakthrough development of entering the cultural industry.
