Tiens Group Donated RMB 1 Million to China Charity Federation

On August 20 of 2004, TIENS Group and TIENS Meijing International Charitable Foundation held a donation ceremony at the Henderson Center in Beijing to donate RMB 1.05 million to China Charity Federation, in order to help the disadvantaged groups of the community.

Tiens Group Donated RMB 1 Million to China Charity FederationMs. Bai Ping, Vice President of TIENS Meijing International Charitable Foundation, said that it is a consistent tradition of Tiens Group to zealously participate in public welfare and charitable activities and help others, which is also the most valuable character of TIENS. We have donated cash and services to the disadvantaged groups of the community many times, and from now on, we will also do our utmost to help them resolve personal hardships.

At the donation ceremony, Ms. Bai Ping handed a cheque of RMB 1.05 million to the Vice President of China Charity Federation Su Qingyu, who, in return, presented a certificate and souvenir medal to Mr. Shi Yu, General Manager of TIENS International Marketing Group (China Region).

Sticking to the company philosophy “Contributing to society by restoring health to mankind,” Tiens Group has donated cash and services amounting RMB 400 million to government and society since its establishment nine years ago. Ministry of Civil Affairs issued Tiens Group the Charity Donation Award last year, and this year, the Board Chairman and President of Tiens Group Mr. Li Jinyuan was third place in the 2004 China Mainland Philanthropist Ranking List, which was jointly compiled by European Monetary (China) and China Association of Social Workers, Committee of Corporate Citizenship.
