On January 25, the China College Education Assistance Programme, sponsored by TIENS Group, jointly conducted by China Women and Children Development Center and Beijing-USA College of English, was launched at the Henderson Center in Beijing.

The China College Education Assistance Programme engages to solve the problem of tuition fee for poor university students, and help them on the issue employment. This Programme relies on philanthropic families, enterprises and firms in Beijing, while the National Women’s Federation at every level helps to select or recommend students from poor families who are of excellent conduct and academic achievements. China Women and Children Development Center arranges part-time jobs for these students and thus help them to complete their studies.

Beholding the belief of “Contributing to Society by Restoring Health to Mankind”, TIENS Group sponsored this activity. For a long time, TIENS Group has received much praises from the society for its zeal in public welfare, devoting to help poor people out of their poverty.

Recently, the “First Chinese Contemporary Celebrities Forum & 2004 Award Ceremony” was held in the Great Hall of the People, in which TIENS President ” because of his remarkable achievements in corporate management and economics.

In response to the call of General-Secretary Hu Jintao to, “strive to build a learning-based society where everyone enjoys opportunities of learning and success”, the Sixth Learning-based China & Century Success Forum was held at Beijing Zonghou Auditorium from December 30, 2005 to January 1, 2006. Local well-known entrepreneurs including presidents from Meng Niu Dairy and Alibaba attended the forum. Some of the elites from TIENS also took part to interact and learn.

At the forum, Mr. Li Jinyuan, President of Tiens Group, together with Mr. Niu Gensheng, President of Meng Niu Dairy and Mr. Ma Yun, CEO of Alibaba etc., were honored with the title of 2005 China Top 10 Learning Entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, Tiens Group was awarded the title of Top 2005 Learning Enterprise.
