Vice-President of Xinhua News Agency Visit Tiens

On the evening of December 14, 2005, Mr. Ma Shengrong, Vice President and Associate Executive Editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency and his secretary paid a visit to Tiens Group.

Mr. Yang, Vice President of the Group, met with them personally. Afterwards, Mr. Li Jinyuan, President of the Group and Mr. Ma had a friendly meeting lasting about an hour, in which both sides exchanged opinions on the development and status of direct selling at home and abroad. Mr. Li made a detailed introduction on the status and future development strategies of the Group with an emphasis on its internationalization to Mr. Ma. He continued by saying that TIENS had entered into mainstream society in 190-odd countries. With full access to markets of these countries, TIENS has enjoyed a steady consumer group totaling 10 million across the world. The globalization of Tiens Group evoked great interest from Mr. Ma, who complimented that TIENS was the cultural emissary of the people. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Li personally presented a gift to Mr. Ma.

After that, accompanied by Mr. Li, Mr. Ma was introduced to the exhibition hall of the Tiens Group. Mr. Ma sincerely praised TIENS’ achievements over the past decade.

Finally, Mr. Li treated Mr. Ma to a banquet, for which the Vice President expressed sincere gratitude.
