TIENS Donated One Million Yuan to Police Fund
On March 13, 2006, Mr. Li Jinyuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Tiens Group took his colleagues to attend the Donation Ceremony in Tianjin, in which Mr. Li donated RMB 1 million to Tianjin Blue Shield Fund Committee. He was appointed the Vice-President of the fund committee by Mr. Wu Changshun, Vice Secretary of Politics and Law Subcommittee of CPC Committee of Tianjin, Secretary of CPC Committee of Tianjin Public Security Bureau, and Director of Tianjin Police Bureau.
Following that, Mr. Li delivered an enthusiastic speech. He stated that Tiens Group echoed the call of the central committee of CPC to build a harmonious society. He went on to say that TIENS was ready to put this into practice by contributing its strength to philanthropy and that TIENS charitable undertakings reflect not only the personality and charm of an entrepreneur and his enterprise, but also the degree of a country’s civilization. Mr. Li also stressed that TIENS lends a helping hand to those in need.
