2006 First Global Top 500 Chinese Enterprises

Cosponsored by the World Eminence Chinese Business Association and China General Chamber of Commerce, as well as undertaken by the Beijing International Exchange Association and Chinese Businessman Magazine Publishing House, the award ceremony of the “2006 First Global Top 500 Chinese Enterprises & 2006 Global Top 500 Chinese Tycoons” took place at the auditorium of the Great Hall of the People, on June 28, 2006 in Beijing. The event attracted more than 500 guests from winning enterprises, media and news agencies and prominent national enterprises.

Honors Certificate and Cup of Global Top 500 Chinese Enterprises TycoonsOrganized and issued by the World Eminence Chinese Business Association, this evaluation for “Global Top 500 Chinese Enterprises & Global Top 500 Chinese Tycoons” was the first top-level ranking for Chinese entrepreneurs and enterprises covering Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and the other places in the world. The ranking adopted the international universal evaluating system and used the profit capability, reputation and development potential of the enterprises as its evaluating index, as well as also using independent investigation, comparison of aggregative indicator and exper0t’s comment.

The evaluation was widely well received and acknowledged because of its fair, scientific and authoritative base. Besides Sinopec, State Grid, Haier and China Life Insurance (Group) Company, Tiens Group won the honorary title of “Global Top 500 Chinese Enterprises” through strict evaluation, and President Li Jinyuan of TIENS won the honorable title of “2006 Global Top 500 Chinese Tycoons”.

He Luli, Vice-Chairwoman of the NPC Standing Committee, Abdul’ ahat Abdulrixit, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Sun Fuling, Vice-Chairman of the 9th National Committee of CPPCC, and He Jihai, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce (former Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of PRC) were invited to attend the awards ceremony. Their speeches highly praised the awarded enterprises and entrepreneurs who had created values for China and the world over the years. The speeches put high expectations on building a harmonious environment for global Chinese enterprises, and enhancing the steady growth of China’s economy, thus making China more valuable.
