On December 3, 2006, celebrating the International Day of Disabled Persons, Tiens President Li Jinyuan and Vice-Presidents Bai Ping and Wang Guo Feng were invited to the grand concert “ICBC Hand in Hand — The Same Song & Legal Aids for the Disabled Concert” jointly organized by the Ministry of Justice of the P.R.C and the China Disabled Persons’ Federation.

Prior to the meeting, Hui Liangyu, Vice Premier of the State Council, Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairwoman of the NPC Standing Committee, Luo Haocai, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Deng Pufang, President of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, and leaders of the Ministry of Justice of P.R.C met with, and took group photos with, Tiens President Li Jinyuan and Vice-President Bai Ping and Wang Guo Feng, and other entrepreneurs.

At the Concert, the emcee interviewed Vice-President Bai Ping of Tiens Group. Vice-President Bai Ping explained Tiens’ social responsibility in repaying the society through charity, and expressed that Tiens Group would always care and support the cause of helping the disabled persons.

It was reported that this concert will be premiered over the CCTV-1 and CCTV-3 on December 8, 2006.

On December 1, 2006, President Li Jinyuan, Vice-President Wang Guofeng, and TIENS China Region President Zheng Fengqiang were invited to the large charitable event of “Charity Carnival Beijing 2006 — Open Our Hearts and Journey Together” jointly organized by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, and China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped.

At the event, President Li Jinyuan, on behalf of TIENS’ employees, expressed due respect and sincere greetings to Zeng Peiyan, Vice Premier of the State Council, Ismail Amat, Vice-Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Liu Yandong, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, Abdul’ ahat Abdulrixit, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and took group photos with the leaders. Prior to the meeting, President Li Jinyuan the progress of Tiens Group with the leaders from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of P.R.C., Ministry of Commerce of PRC, and Beijing Municipal Committee in the VIP room.

Since its inception, Tiens Group has always been concerned with the cause of helping disabled persons. In 2002 Tiens Group has donated healthcare products valued at over RMB 10 million to the disabled persons all over China. On May 15, 2005, on the National Day of Disabled Persons, Tiens Group donated healthcare products valued at RMB 3.2 million to 32 provinces and municipalities. In 2006 Tiens Group donated RMB 1 million to the China Disabled Persons’ Federation for supporting the first “Top 10 Charitable Journalists” jointly organized by the China Disabled Persons’Federation, and All-China Journalists’ Association.
